UAE Weather Update: Temperatures Fall Below 6°C in Jebel Jais with Dust Alert in Effect

The UAE has seen a significant drop in temperatures, with Jebel Jais, the highest peak in the country, recording lows below 6°C. This chilly weather offers a refreshing change for both residents and visitors. Much of the nation is under partly cloudy skies, and a dust alert has been issued for the northern emirates of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) and Fujairah.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reports that Jebel Jais has experienced some of the lowest temperatures in recent weeks, indicating the arrival of cooler weather across the UAE. Residents living at higher elevations are advised to prepare for cooler evenings and mornings as winter approaches. This drop in temperature presents a great opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to explore the UAE’s stunning landscapes while enjoying the pleasant weather.

However, weather officials have warned of dusty winds in certain areas of RAK and Fujairah, which may lead to reduced visibility and discomfort for individuals with respiratory issues. The NCM has recommended that drivers exercise caution in these regions and stay alert during times of low visibility due to blowing dust.

These changing weather patterns signal the start of the UAE’s eagerly awaited winter season, which is popular among both residents and tourists for outdoor activities and festivals. As temperatures continue to fall, the UAE is poised to become a paradise for winter lovers, with crisp mornings and beautiful views drawing in adventure seekers and nature lovers alike.
