Here are some specific violations that drivers must avoid:
- Creating or using fake license plates: Manufacturing, imitating, or using forged license plates is a punishable offense.
- Altering license plate details: Defacing, changing, or obscuring the information on a license plate while it is in use is prohibited.
- Allowing misuse of altered license plates: Permitting someone to use a tampered, defaced, or fake license plate knowingly can lead to legal consequences.
- Transferring plates between vehicles: Moving a license plate from one vehicle to another without proper authorization from the Licensing Authority is illegal.
- Improper installation of license plates: Installing, assisting, or facilitating the installation of plates in a way that violates the law is considered an offense.
