Rain to Continue Until Christmas Day

The rainy conditions are forecasted to continue through Christmas Day, marking the official start of winter in the UAE. This comes as part of an earlier weather prediction by the NCM.

Fog Alerts Issued

The weather department has also issued red and yellow fog alerts for certain areas, as highlighted on their maps. Drivers are advised to stay cautious, particularly during nighttime.

Humid Nights and Morning Fog

While some areas might see rain, the nights are expected to be humid, and these conditions will persist until Wednesday morning, especially in internal regions.

Winds and Sea Conditions

The UAE will experience light to moderate winds, occasionally freshening, blowing from the northwest to northeast at speeds of 10-25 km/h, with occasional gusts reaching up to 35 km/h. The Arabian Gulf will have moderate to slight seas, while the Oman Sea will remain slight.

Unstable Weather Until Thursday

The NCM has warned of unstable weather continuing until Thursday, caused by the extension of a surface low-pressure system from the Southeast. This system may lead to intermittent rainfall in coastal areas, islands, and northern and eastern regions. Skies are expected to stay partly cloudy to cloudy during this period.
