The UAE Tax Authority has reminded businesses eligible for corporate tax to register before the December 31, 2024 deadline to avoid administrative penalties.

According to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA), this reminder applies to resident juridical persons that were incorporated, established, or recognized before March 1, 2024.

If a business licence was issued in August or September, regardless of the year it was issued, the last date to submit a corporate tax registration application without late penalties is also December 31, 2024.

Eligible businesses can register for corporate tax through the following channels:

  • EmaraTax Platform
  • FTA’s Approved Tax Agents
  • Government Service Centres
