These parks are perfect for a relaxing day out within walking distance. However, some neighborhood parks require a park entry card for access. Here’s a simple guide to help you understand the process, required documents, and costs.

Steps to Apply for a Park Entry Card

  1. Visit the Sharjah Municipality Website
    Go to portal.shjmun.gov.ae.
  2. Click on ‘Smart Services’
    Navigate to the ‘parks and recreational areas’ category and select ‘Request for issuance or renewal of park entry card.’
  3. Start Your Application
    Click on ‘Enter Service’ and fill out the application with the following details:
    • Full Name
    • Emirates ID Number
    • Area of Residence
    • Tenancy Contract Number
  4. Attach the Required Documents
    Upload the necessary documents depending on your eligibility (see details below).

Required Documents

For Citizens:

  • Copy of ID
  • Copy of rental contract or electricity bill

For Residents:

  • Copy of Emirates ID
  • Copy of lease contract or electricity bill
  • A ‘To Whom It May Concern’ document from your workplace (if applicable)

For Mosque Imams:

  • Copy of Emirates ID
  • Copy of lease contract or electricity bill
  • A ‘To Whom It May Concern’ letter

For Children of Female Citizens:

  • Copy of applicant’s ID
  • Copy of mother’s Emirates ID
  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Copy of lease contract or electricity bill

Cost of the Park Entry Card

The fee for the park entry card is AED 15.
