Centurion Test: Pakistan’s Abbas and Shahzad Leave South Africa in Disarray

Pakistan’s bowlers, Mohammad Abbas and Shahzad, put on a remarkable display in the Centurion Test, leaving South Africa in a tough spot at the end of day four. South Africa finished the day at 27 for 3, still 121 runs away from their target, as Pakistan moved closer to a potential victory.

Abbas made an early impact, while Shahzad maintained consistent pressure, taking out crucial South African batsmen. Their outstanding skills on a pitch that provided significant bounce and movement allowed Pakistan to gain the upper hand in the chase.

South Africa’s top order faced difficulties against the disciplined Pakistani bowling attack, with wickets tumbling quickly as daylight faded. The Proteas are feeling the heat, needing a strong performance on the final day to remain in the match.

As Pakistan aims to seal the win, South Africa’s middle and lower order must dig deep to withstand the bowling attack and keep their hopes alive in the test.
