UAE Implements New Legislation to Tackle Abandoned Vehicles in Ajman

Ajman, UAE, has introduced a new law aimed at addressing the increasing problem of abandoned vehicles. Under this law, owners must claim their abandoned cars within 30 days; otherwise, the vehicles will be removed and auctioned off. This initiative is designed to improve the city’s appearance and tackle safety issues related to neglected cars.

Local authorities in Ajman are actively identifying and tagging abandoned vehicles in both public spaces and residential areas. The new regulation allows municipal teams to act quickly, ensuring that streets are cleaner and safer for everyone.

Residents are encouraged to follow the law and remove their vehicles from public areas if left unattended for long periods. Owners must pay a fine to reclaim their vehicles and provide proof of ownership before the 30-day period expires.

This new legislation demonstrates Ajman’s dedication to preserving its urban charm and enhancing the quality of life for its residents. The community has responded positively to the initiative, which is anticipated to reduce clutter and improve public spaces.
