UAE Weather Update: Rain and Dropping Temperatures Under Cloudy Skies

Residents in Northern, Eastern, and coastal areas can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies today, with a chance of scattered rainfall. Temperatures are likely to drop, marking the start of cooler weather across the country.

Winds are expected to range from moderate to strong, with occasional bursts, particularly over the sea. Inland, these winds might cause blowing dust, which could reduce visibility in some areas.

Weather Warning for Mariners

The National Centre of Meteorology has advised mariners to take precautions as the Arabian Gulf is forecasted to be very rough to rough, while the Oman Sea may see rough to moderate conditions. People are advised to avoid diving or swimming due to these hazardous sea conditions.

Temperature and Humidity

The maximum temperatures across the UAE are predicted to range between 21°C to 24°C, while humidity levels could reach up to 80%.

Recent Rainfall Update

Some parts of the UAE welcomed the New Year with light to moderate rainfall and cooler temperatures. Rain was reported on Wednesday in Dubai, Sharjah, and Umm Al Quwain.
