Rajendra Arlekar has been sworn in as the new governor of Kerala during a ceremony at the Raj Bhavan. Previously the governor of Himachal Pradesh, Arlekar brings a wealth of administrative and political experience to his new position in the southern state.

At the same time, Arif Mohammed Khan, who was the governor of Kerala, has been appointed as the governor of Bihar. Renowned for his articulate nature and profound understanding of constitutional issues, Khan is anticipated to offer a new perspective on governance in Bihar.
This reshuffling of governors signifies a strategic initiative by the central government to place experienced leaders in crucial roles across various states.
