The UAE welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, pointing out that there is a need for steadfast commitment by both parties to ensure that peace is maintained and the agreement terms are adhered to. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, said that the current ceasefire is the final step toward a solution to the ongoing crisis and the misery it has caused in the region.

The UAE, known for its diplomatic efforts in promoting stability in the Middle East, urged all parties to respect the ceasefire conditions and move towards a sustainable peace that will ensure the security and welfare of all civilians. Sheikh Abdullah mentioned the role of international cooperation in facilitating peaceful resolutions to conflicts.

As a long-time advocate for peace and humanitarian aid, the UAE continues to reach out to other global stakeholders so that the truce will actually lead to real results. According to the foreign ministry of the country, more dialogue and action that will further contribute to the broader solution to restore security to the region must be pursued.

The call by the UAE for adherence to the ceasefire is in line with its commitment to peace, stability, and support for diplomatic efforts in conflict resolution worldwide.
