Saudi Arabia has stated that all international pilgrim services shall be solely dealt with on the Nusuk Masar platform. According to new regulations, services regarding Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage shall become much more systematic and efficient with increased transparency in regards to both the pilgrims and the service providers.

Nusuk Masar is an electronic platform that Saudi Arabia launched under its Vision 2030 program. The digital platform aims to streamline the entire pilgrimage process, from visa issuance to accommodation, transportation, and religious services. By centralizing the process on one digital platform, the Kingdom will be able to enhance the overall pilgrimage experience while maintaining strict control over the quality of services provided.

International travel agencies and service providers will be required to adhere to the new rule so that pilgrims are properly registered and their services are fully vetted. This is a continuation of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to modernize its pilgrimage infrastructure while keeping the sanctity and safety of the Hajj and Umrah experiences intact.

As the deadline looms, authorities are calling on all stakeholders to conclude their contracts using the platform; this only adds to the Kingdom’s seriousness in ensuring that pilgrims enjoy a smooth and safe journey into the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
