UAE Weather Alert: Rain, wind, and rough seas expected

The UAE is set for a change in the weather, according to the National Centre of Meteorology, who predicts there will be rain, overcast skies, and rough seas from Tuesday through Friday. The weather bureau issued an alert informing residents and visitors of the possibility of showers and strong winds with hazardous coastal conditions.

The rain, which is expected to be sporadic, will be accompanied by gusty winds that could cause disruptions, especially in outdoor activities. These conditions are expected to affect multiple regions, so travelers and residents need to stay updated on the latest forecasts and weather warnings.

Apart from rain and wind, NCM is warning against rough seas that may produce a hazardous sea condition for sea activities. In addition, it may cause dust storms, where winds will cut the vision in the open areas or desert.

It’s wise to prepare oneself as the front passes over, which may be in terms of staying indoors where possible, tying down outdoor furniture, and sticking to any directives the local authorities give. Be prepared for a wet and windy week, with significant shifts in the UAE’s weather.
