Saudi Arabia has been taking bold steps in reshaping its labor market, aimed at completely eliminating forced labor with better worker protection. The wage protection system and strict labor compliance measures are a key initiative of the Kingdom in the context of the greater Vision 2030.

Recent reforms have streamlined recruitment processes, improved working conditions, and empowered workers with more rights, thus boosting Saudi Arabia’s global standing in labour rights. The government has also strengthened labour inspections and digital monitoring systems to ensure compliance across industries.

The reforms have already yielded benefits by elevating the level of job satisfaction, good employer-employee relations, and a more competent, powerful competitive labor force. All these support Saudi Arabia’s objective to be able to enjoy an open and modern, as well as diversified, inclusive economy with talents sourced globally.
