His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has reviewed the progress of a Dh1.4 billion housing project which will raise community living standards in the emirate.

The project 672 modern villas was designed to host high-quality housing for Emirati families in addition to apartments. The planned development will involve a mosque, retail markets, a public park, and key service facilities – a comprehensive offering.

During the review, Sheikh Mohammed said that the UAE had pledged to citizen welfare and would give high-quality housing precedence in the long-term urban plans for Dubai. The plan would reflect the larger vision of the city: sustainable and well-planned communities with modern infrastructure and essential amenities.

Part of the larger Dubai housing strategy, it will provide thousands of new homes to Emiratis in the next few years. Officials have confirmed that construction is doing well on schedule and would be completed soon.
