A foreign national in Kuwait has been sentenced to jail and ordered deported after being convicted of engaging in an extramarital affair. The case highlights the country’s strict laws regarding morality and personal conduct, which apply to both citizens and expatriates.

In a different case, another expat has been ordered to be expelled from the country for blackmailing a woman. The authorities have declared their firm stance against those committing misconduct, stating that public decency and the law will not be violated.

Kuwait enforces strict regulations on relationships outside of marriage, with legal consequences that can include imprisonment, fines, and deportation. Cases involving blackmail or coercion are treated with additional severity under the law.

As part of the country’s legal framework, expatriates are expected to abide by local customs and laws. Authorities continue to urge foreign residents to respect Kuwait’s legal and cultural norms to avoid severe penalties.
