Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with newly elected US Vice President JD Vance, congratulating him on his significant electoral victory. The meeting took place during a formal dinner at the Elysee Palace, where the two leaders discussed strengthening India-US relations in the evolving global landscape.

Modi lauded Vance’s rise in American politics, calling his win a “great, great victory” that reflects the changing dynamics of leadership in the United States. The two leaders exchanged views on mutual cooperation in trade, technology, and security, emphasizing the need for deeper bilateral ties.

The meeting also highlighted India’s growing strategic partnership with the US, with Modi reaffirming his commitment to collaborative efforts in areas like defense, energy, and digital innovation. Vance, in turn, expressed enthusiasm for working closely with India on global challenges, including economic development and security.

As India and the US continue to strengthen their alliance, Modi’s meeting with Vance signals a new chapter in diplomatic engagement. The discussion at Elysee Palace underscores the importance of sustained collaboration between the two nations on critical international issues.
