Australia’s Pat Cummins Eyes IPL Return After Injury Blip

Australian skipper Pat Cummins has his eyes on getting back to cricket in the IPL following a ruling out of the Champions Trophy because of an ankle injury. The pace bowler, who played a crucial role in Australia’s World Cup victory, is in the process of rehab and expects to get back to full fitness well before the big T20 league.”.

Cummins’ absence is a significant blow for Australia, who are already missing Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, leaving their pace attack considerably weakened. Despite the setback, the 30-year-old remains optimistic, stating, “Recovery is going well, and I’m focused on getting back stronger for the IPL.”

With his experience and leadership essential to both Australia and his IPL franchise, Cummins’ return would improve his team’s prospects in the tournament and add much-needed impetus before Australia’s next international engagements. Fans and experts will be looking intently at his recovery, waiting to see him on the field soon.
