With Ramadan 2025 fast approaching, Sharjah Municipality has stated that it is expanding the paid parking timings within the emirate. The initiative is aimed at accommodating the shifting schedules of locals and tourists alike during the holy month while maintaining free traffic flow.

In a move to assist worshippers, parking will be free near mosques at prayer times so that easy access is available for people who go for Taraweeh and other congregational prayers. The move comes as part of the emirate’s efforts to boost convenience and religious practice.

Authorities have called on drivers to adhere to new parking rules to prevent fines and ensure that free zones around mosques are utilized respectfully. More information on the new timings and areas will be announced shortly.

During this Ramadan, Sharjah transport policies remain focused on serving the community, making the holy month more convenient and hassle-free for residents and visitors.
