The buildup to the glamourous Dubai World Cup 2025 becomes even more fierce this weekend with Super Saturday dominating the proceedings at Meydan Racecourse. The much-awaited race day will be one last test of wills for rivals vying for a coveted entry into one of the globe’s richest horse racing events. Kabirkhan and Imperial Emperor, two of the world’s finest thoroughbreds, will once again be at loggerheads as they renew their fierce rivalry in the Al Maktoum Classic.

Super Saturday is the final test prior to the Dubai World Cup, with races in various categories providing trainers and riders a last opportunity to gauge their chances. Of the main events, the Al Maktoum Classic (G2) features Kabirkhan and Imperial Emperor again squaring off, each trying to impose their dominance prior to the big one later this month. The competition promises thrilling action, with several international runners hoping to make a statement.

In addition to the Al Maktoum Classic, both the Jebel Hatta (G1) and Dubai City of Gold (G2) will also have an important influence on the composition of the final Dubai World Cup field. As horses from all over the world compete for a spot, the race should give an exciting glimpse of what is in store on March 30, when Meydan hosts the Dubai World Cup.

Dubai racing fans and bookies anticipate a day of nail-biting action, intelligent maneuvers, and jaw-dropping finales when Dubai’s elite racing talent duke it out in an exhibition of skill.
