Stay Safe This Ramadan: Stress-Free Driving Tips for Iftar Rush

admin
SHARE

With Ramadan well underway, most motorists in the UAE are hurrying home for Iftar, causing them undue stress and risking road dangers. Experts suggest deep breathing exercises, adequate hydration, and prior route planning to prevent last-minute panic and aggressive driving.

Authorities have called on motorists to be patient and adhere to speed limits, particularly during busy pre-Iftar hours, when roads are most congested. Police also recommend taking brief breaks if they feel tired and utilizing designated safe parking areas to break the fast if necessary.

To further alleviate traffic jams, UAE authorities have implemented flexible working hours for certain industries, which have minimized the pre-Iftar rush. Moreover, several organizations provide free Iftar food at strategic points to help those traveling during sunset.

By remaining composed and driving defensively, drivers can make their own stress-free Ramadan and others on the road safer.
