A knife-wielding Afghan male was shot dead by German police after he threatened officers with a blade, it is alleged. The clash happened when officials were called to reports of a disturbance, only for the suspect to become aggressive when they arrived.
Regardless of efforts to de-escalate the scenario, the suspect refused to relinquish his firearm, leading officers to open fire. Responders arrived with haste, yet the suspect died from his wounds at the crime scene.
