Kids stole the show at the 6th annual Iftar meal distribution ceremony at Al Sajaa Labour Park, taking the lead to bring together and support the community in Ramadan. The ceremony was marked by young volunteers giving away meals to scores of laborers with a fervor, instilling an atmosphere of kindness and belongingness.
The initiative, held in collaboration with various community groups and volunteers, aimed to promote kindness and compassion during the holy month. Families, corporate teams, and social organizations gathered at the park to ensure laborers received nourishing Iftar meals.
Organizers highlighted the pivotal role children played, not just in distributing food but also in spreading smiles and building connections across cultures and backgrounds. “It’s heartwarming to see the younger generation take the lead in acts of giving and gratitude,” said one of the event coordinators.
The Iftar drive has become a staple of the UAE’s community outreach programs during Ramadan, symbolizing unity, empathy, and shared humanity. This year’s gathering reinforced the importance of collective action and inspired many to continue similar charitable initiatives beyond Ramadan.
