In order to guarantee a fun and safe celebration, Abu Dhabi authorities have issued a set of safety guidelines for the Eid Al Fitr holidays, advising everyone to follow them. Officials stress the significance of being vigilant and adhering to safety procedures because of the anticipated large crowds, increased travel, and public events.

Residents should take the appropriate fire safety precautions when using fireworks, cooking equipment, or decorative lighting during Eid celebrations, according to the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence. In order to prevent traffic accidents during the holiday rush, families are advised to observe traffic laws and refrain from crowding in public areas.

Residents have also been reminded by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH) to follow health safety precautions, especially for vulnerable populations like children, the elderly, and people with long-term medical conditions. Hospitals and emergency services throughout the emirate are equipped to handle any medical emergencies that may arise during the holiday season.

To improve security, authorities have expanded patrols and emergency response teams in well-known public spaces, shopping centres, and beaches. Residents are encouraged to use the designated channels, such as 999 for police assistance and 998 for ambulance services, to report any suspicious activity or emergencies.
