The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2025 (ADIBF) officially opened its doors, welcoming a vibrant mix of global publishers, authors, and literary enthusiasts. This year’s edition sees record-breaking participation from countries across the world, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s growing reputation as a dynamic cultural and literary hub. Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the week-long celebration of books, ideas, and creative exchange.

One of the greatest attractions of the fair is the celebration of six legendary Arab publishers who have played a significant role in enriching the literary and cultural heritage of the region. Their celebration marks ADIBF’s dedication to protecting and supporting Arabic literature while marking the Arab publishing sector’s achievements on a global platform.

Apart from conventional publishing highlights, the fair is also shining a firm focus on new voices via a separate platform for self-published Emirati writers. Through offering workshops, mentorship schemes, and exhibition space, ADIBF is empowering new and independent writers, making them more accessible to wider readerships and stimulating a new wave of literary talent.

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2025 promises a diverse array of events, including book launches, panel discussions, poetry readings, and interactive sessions for children. With its rich programming and global engagement, the fair continues to strengthen Abu Dhabi’s role as a bridge between cultures and a beacon for the literary arts.
