The Abu Dhabi Labour Court paid out a staggering Dh230 million to employees in its continued zeal for protecting labour rights and advancing justice. This release of money is a testimonial to an aggressive administrative effort towards making workers receive their deserving pay without years of litigation.

In an impressive feat, the court achieved a 99% adjudication rate in labor cases, highlighting its efficiency and commitment to timely case resolution. The streamlined legal process not only helped thousands of employees but also enhanced confidence in the judicial system of the Emirate.

Among its major initiatives, the court has initiated a number of steps to streamline legal processes, such as translation facilities, online platforms for tracking cases, and expedited judgments in emergent cases. Authorities stressed that safeguarding workers’ rights is at the core of their long-term plan for labor market stability.

The success of the Abu Dhabi Labour Court is an example to other judicial authorities throughout the region, emphasizing the UAE’s ongoing commitment to ensuring a fair, transparent, and worker-friendly labor climate.
