Bollywood heartthrob Arijit Singh has canceled his next concert in Abu Dhabi owing to growing tensions between India and Pakistan. This comes after his recent cancellation of a concert in Chennai, which was canceled in the wake of the terror attack on April 22.

The performer’s group issued a statement saying they were sorry for the postponement due to fears about people’s safety and well-being with the politically turbulent environment. The singer, with his deep, soulful voice and moving ballads, was highly expected to perform by fans in Abu Dhabi, making it all the more disappointing to the many fans looking forward to hearing him.

The step is viewed as part of a larger trend of event organizers and artists taking precautionary steps amid increasing geopolitical tensions. The management of the singer confirmed that a new date for the concert would be announced soon and assured fans that the safety of all concerned is their utmost priority.

Fans who had waited anxiously for the event are now praying for an early return to peaceful times, looking forward to enjoying Arijit Singh’s soulful performances when the times get better.
