Free High-Speed Wi-Fi Now on Ras Al Khaimah Buses

Ras Al Khaimah has introduced free high-speed Wi-Fi on its public buses, a significant move toward smart city infrastructure and increased commuter convenience. The move is designed to make daily commuting more productive and enjoyable for residents and tourists.

The fast internet service enables commuters to remain connected while on the move—be it for work, leisure, or directions. This forms part of a wider digital transformation strategy by the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority to upgrade public transport services in the emirate.

Officials describe the step as not only improving commuter happiness but also supporting UAE’s national digital strategy. Integrating smart technology into public services, RAK continues to place itself as an advanced and networked emirate.

Passengers are able to use the Wi-Fi smoothly through mobile devices throughout their journey. The service will be further increased in the upcoming months, ensuring all users of public transport take advantage of continuous digital connectivity.
