Coming from Kerala, Pope Leo XIV also journeyed to Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, visiting a Catholic school where he greeted warmly teachers and students alike. Speaking with students, Pope Leo XIV referred to the necessity of humility, service, and mutual respect among cultures, inspiring Indian youngsters to adopt ways of living kindness and honesty. His visit became indelible on the emotional as well as spiritual life of the people.

The Pope’s travel schedule also covers interfaith interactions and encounters with local clergy, further cementing the Vatican and India’s Christian community.
