Day 1 of the Gulf News Edufair Abu Dhabi started with a lively beginning at Millennium Downtown, attracting hundreds of students, parents, and educationists. With more than 20 top schools, universities, and training centers taking part, the fair is facilitating the interaction between academic dreams and career opportunities for young students across the UAE.
Throughout the day, students discovered a diverse scope of educational opportunities—traditional academic fields to future professions in AI, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Live counselling sessions and panel discussions provided visitors with a richer appreciation of scholarship opportunities, global admissions, and skills sought after for an ever-changing job market.
Some of the highlights of the event included interactive STEAM education workshops, student career planning, and personal branding for students. The student competitions, technology exhibitions, and interactive booths maintained the buzz, empowering students with the information they need to make informed choices about their future.
Parents were particularly attracted to sessions on curriculum comparisons—British, IB, American, and Indian—and how to choose the best match for their child’s aspirations. As Day 2 begins, anticipation is high for additional specialist panels, networking, and school exhibition. Gulf News Edufair remains an important contact point for the education system of the region.
