As part of their efforts to provide a safe and convenient journey for Hajj pilgrims, the Dubai Police General Department of Airport Security coordinated the departure formalities of the UAE’s official Hajj delegation at Dubai International Airport. Senior officials, such as Major General Ali Atiq bin Lahej, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police for Ports Affairs, supervised the operations, which ensured smooth and orderly proceedings.

In an effort to assist pilgrims in braving the hot weather during the summer, Dubai Police offered umbrellas with fans and water sprays. The kind gesture was appreciated by pilgrims, with some of them showing how they felt about it in a video they posted on social media.

The move is a testament to Dubai Police’s commitment to upgrading the standards of services delivered to passengers and ensuring comfort for them during important journeys. Major General bin Lahej welcomed the efforts to make it easier for the pilgrims to travel, wishing them a hassle-free and spiritually enlightening journey.
