UAE Eid Al Adha Weather Forecast: Rain Chances, Dust Warnings, and What to Expect This Weekend.

As families prepare for Eid Al Adha celebrations, many are wondering if it will rain this holiday weekend. According to the latest prognosis from the UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), rain is not expected throughout Eid, however blowing dust and occasional cloud cover may disrupt outdoor plans in some areas.

The Met Office has issued an advisory for dusty conditions in inland and desert areas today, with visibility predicted to dwindle during the day. Hot temperatures and northwesterly winds will cause sporadic sandstorms, especially in the west and south of the country. Residents are asked to use caution, particularly when travelling in low-visibility zones.

Despite the dust, the weather for Eid appears consistent, with sunny to partly overcast skies expected for the majority of the holiday weekend. Coastal areas such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah will have warm but manageable temperatures, with highs ranging from 38°C to 42°C. Evening breezes are expected to offer some relief, making it ideal for family gatherings and cannon-firing ceremonies.

Authorities advised staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak afternoon hours, and monitoring the NCM’s real-time updates. Whether you’re headed to prayer grounds, beach picnics, or desert outings, knowing the weather will help ensure a safe and joyful Eid Al Adha celebration across the Emirates.
