In a humanitarian gesture in the spirit of Eid Al Adha, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have authorised a housing benefits package worth Dh4.62 billion for Emirati nationals. The project benefits 3,052 people across the country and demonstrates the leadership’s long-standing commitment to improving quality of life.
This is the second housing package of 2025, and it corresponds with the impending Eid holiday, providing joy, stability, and a sense of belonging to thousands of families. The package includes residential loans, exemption from repayments for retirees and low-income citizens, and full grants for various categories, as part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to empower its people.
The initiative falls under the directives of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme and follows the UAE’s broader national goals of sustainable urban development and social welfare. It not only addresses housing needs but also boosts long-term economic security and social cohesion among citizens.
This recent permission underscores the government’s commitment to providing respectable and modern living conditions for all Emirati citizens. As Eid approaches, the housing announcement provides a timely and physical reminder of the country’s people-first policy.
