Sharjah Police have successfully managed over 33,000 calls during the Eid Al Adha holidays, showcasing strong operational preparedness and a commitment to public safety. Both emergency and non-emergency calls were swiftly handled by the Central Operations Room, ensuring rapid response across the emirate.

According to officials, the force implemented a strategic deployment plan throughout high-traffic areas, prayer sites, and public destinations. The aim was to facilitate smooth traffic flow, reduce congestion, and address any incidents without delay during the festive period.

Brigadier General Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director of Central Operations, praised the professionalism of the teams and noted that no major incidents were reported. “Thanks to coordinated efforts and public cooperation, we maintained security and fluidity across all main routes,” he said.

Residents were also encouraged to continue using the 999 emergency line only for urgent matters, while the 901 line and Sharjah Police smart app remain available for general inquiries. The department reaffirmed its ongoing dedication to safety, especially during busy public holidays.
