Grab your sunglasses—the UAE’s hot temperature is taking a temporary break today as the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts a sharp drop in temperatures in addition to possible fog in the early morning hours. Here is your speedy weather cheat sheet:

Key Changes:
Temperature Swing: Daytime temperature decreasing 3-5°C (45°C to 40°C in Abu Dhabi, 38°C in Dubai).
Fog Risk: Patchy mist/fog likely between 4 AM – 8 AM, lowering visibility to 500m on coasts/internal zones.
Light Winds: 15-25 km/h winds providing mild relief.

Impacted Areas:
Fog Zones: Al Ain, Sweihan, E11 Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway.
Cooler Places: Hilly areas (Ras Al Khaimah) may experience lows of 26°C.

Why It’s Important:
Drivers: Slow down approaching fog-prone zones such as Ghantoot.
Outdoor Activity: Perfect time for desert safaris ahead of temps recovery.
Health Warning: Continue to stay hydrated—humidity will increase to 80% after fog.

The Takeaway: Enjoy the short respite from scorching heat, but don’t put away the sunscreen—50°C+ makes return by weekend.
