Israel-Iran Conflict: Complete List of Cancelled and Rerouted Flights in the Face of Rising Tensions

The Middle Eastern skies have turned into war-zone proximal airspace as heightened tensions between Israel and Iran result in mass flight cancellations, diversions, and delays. With the main airspaces shut or placed under high alert, international airlines are quickly re-routing, impacting thousands of passengers in Europe, Asia, and the Gulf.

Multiple prominent airlines such as Emirates, Etihad, Qatar Airways, Lufthansa, and Turkish Airlines have diverted or suspended flights overflighting Iran, Israel, and surrounding areas. Air India and British Airways also announced delays or diversions for long-haul flights between Europe and Southeast Asia. Flight tracking data indicate dozens of airplanes flying around the Persian Gulf route altogether.

This travel mayhem follows only hours after Israel made a precision military attack on Iranian installations, setting off increased defense measures in regional countries. Regional civil air authorities have put out emergency NOTAMs (Notices to Air Missions) calling for vigilance and adhering to airspace limitations for safety.

Tel Aviv, Tehran, and Dubai airports are flying with increased security measures in place, and travelers should contact their airline prior to flight. For a full list of canceled flights and diverted routes, keep following our live updates.
