In a significant administrative step, the Ruler of Sharjah has named Dr. Aisha as the new Secretary-General of the Sharjah Communication for Higher Education and Scientific Research (SCHESR). Her nomination includes a rise to the rank of Director General under the Special Jobs System, demonstrating the emirate’s emphasis on academic excellence and leadership development.
Dr. Aisha brings with her extensive experience in higher education and research. Her past involvement in academia and public service helped shape Sharjah’s educational policies. Her leadership is intended to improve SCHESR’s efforts to promote innovation, quality assurance, and worldwide collaboration in the sector.
This appointment is consistent with Sharjah’s larger objective of raising the quality of higher education and scientific research while cultivating national potential. The next Secretary-General is also anticipated to lead efforts to align the Emirate’s academic institutions with international standards.
