Students in Grades 3 through 12 in the UAE will begin taking make-up exams on Friday

The UAE Ministry of Education has announced that make-up exams for students in Grades 3 to 12 will commence this Friday, targeting those who missed their final assessments due to valid reasons.

Not for Grade Improvement
The Ministry clarified that these exams are only for students who were absent during the main exam period, and not an opportunity for grade enhancement.

“The make-up exams aim to ensure fairness and equal academic opportunity for all students who missed their original exam dates due to emergencies,” the Ministry stated.

Important Information:
Commencement Date: June 21, Friday

Eligibility: Students from Grades 3–12 who missed final exams

The goal is to compensate for absences rather than to improve marks that have already been given.

Format: Same syllabus and level of difficulty as original exams

🎯 Ministry’s Emphasis
Officials are urging schools to communicate clearly with parents and students to avoid confusion. Students are expected to bring relevant documentation if their absence wasn’t previously registered.

This initiative underscores the UAE’s commitment to educational equity, ensuring that all students have a fair chance to complete their academic requirements.
