The UAE denounces the missile strike on Qatar and demands an immediate de-escalation

The latest missile assault against Qatar has been strongly condemned by the United Arab Emirates, which described it as a hazardous escalation in an already unstable regional crisis. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on all sides to put diplomacy before of conflict and underlined the importance of exercising caution.

The UAE emphasised the significance of maintaining regional peace and civilian safety in its official statement, which also reiterated its support with the people of Qatar. The missile strike, widely believed to be part of Iran’s response to heightened tensions with the U.S., has sparked alarm across the Gulf.

In addition, the UAE urged the international community to step up efforts to mediate and ease tensions between Iran, the United States, and nearby parties. Although there were no recorded injuries as a result of the missile, it increased concerns that a larger conflict would spread to nearby countries.

As regional leaders and global powers push for de-escalation, the UAE’s statement reflects growing concerns among Gulf states about the impact of escalating military activity on national security, energy markets, and civilian aviation.
