Israel Kills 14 Iranian Scientists in Major Blow to Nuclear Programme

In what experts are calling an unprecedented strike, Israel has reportedly killed at least 14 Iranian nuclear scientists in a targeted operation aimed at crippling Tehran’s nuclear expertise. The incident, which has intensified tensions in the already volatile region, marks one of the most aggressive covert actions against Iran’s scientific infrastructure in recent history.

According to intelligence sources, the operation was highly coordinated and executed across multiple locations, suggesting extensive surveillance and planning. The attack has raised serious concerns about retaliatory measures and the broader implications for Middle East stability.

While Iranian officials have condemned the killings as an act of terrorism, nuclear analysts believe the setback, though severe, may not be permanent. “Iran still has a substantial reserve of trained scientists and technical personnel,” said one expert. “It may slow them down, but it won’t stop the program entirely.”

Global leaders have urged restraint amid fears that the incident could trigger a new cycle of retaliation. Diplomatic efforts are reportedly underway to de-escalate the situation and bring both nations back to the negotiating table.
