The UK-based T4 Education yearly organises the prestigious World’s Best School Prizes 2025, and four Indian institutions have made the shortlist of the top 10 finalists. This achievement continues India’s success in the competition, which saw three Indian schools named winners last year.

The finalists span diverse categories, reflecting innovation and social impact in education:

Government Girls Senior Secondary School, NIT‑5, Faridabad (Haryana) – recognized for Supporting Healthy Lives through integrated health, nutrition, and mental wellbeing programs.

ZP School, a finalist in the Community Collaboration category for its effective peer-learning “Subject Friend” model, is located in Jalindar Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra. Because of its design-thinking-based curriculum, Ekya School in J P Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka, is a competitor in the Innovation category.

For integrating sustainability and social responsibility into their daily curriculum, Delhi Public School in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, was shortlisted under Environmental Action. The five award categories—Community Collaboration, Environmental Action, Innovation, Overcoming Adversity, and Supporting Healthy Lives—were used to choose this year’s finalists. All candidates are eligible for the Community Choice Award, which will be chosen by public vote, and the ultimate winners will be revealed in October.
