Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed to a two-year contract extension with Al Nassr, a Saudi Pro League team, which would keep him there until 2027, when he will turn 42. This action reflects his long-term ambition in Riyadh and puts an end to months of uncertainty regarding his future.

According to reports, the contract pays $468 million a year, which includes basic pay, bonuses, and benefits. That works out to almost $1.288 million each day, or roughly $645,000 nett. Additionally, the agreement includes benefits and performance incentives linked to both commercial and on-field success.

In an Instagram post commemorating the signing, Ronaldo wrote: “A new chapter begins.” Same dream, same passion. Together, let’s make history. Currently ranked at 938 gulfnews.com +3, he hopes to guide Al Nassr to domestic championships and get one step closer to his historic 1,000 career goals.

Ronaldo has scored 99 goals in 111 games since joining the Saudi Pro League in 2022, topped the scoring rankings, and been instrumental in luring top players like Karim Benzema to the league. Even though the club hasn’t won any titles yet, its reputation around the world is growing.
