Riyadh is joining the ranks of global cities with its first-ever official Monopoly edition, featuring iconic landmarks, historic quarters, and modern skyscrapers on the board! The launch took place on June 26 at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) Conference Centre, reflecting the city’s rapid transformation and rising cultural prominence.

Designed in collaboration with Hasbro and KEAD Entertainment, Riyadh Monopoly is billed as both a cultural artefact and educational tool, especially for the city’s youth—over half of Riyadh’s population is under 20. The board game aims to make the city’s fast-evolving urban landscape accessible and engaging for all ages.

Players can soon buy, build, and trade famous city properties—from the King Abdullah Financial District to Boulevard World—turning strategic projects into exciting gameplay. The edition maps Riyadh’s journey from historic neighbourhoods to vibrant new districts, highlighting both tradition and modernization.

The Riyadh-themed Monopoly hits store shelves across Saudi Arabia in September 2025. It’s not just a board game—it’s a statement about vision, identity, and national branding, offering families a fun yet meaningful way to connect with the city’s past, present, and future.
