New Delhi, 30 June 2025 The focus is now on some up-and-coming cricket players as the Delhi Premier League (DPL) prepares for its second season, which begins on July 5:
The auction list now includes Virat Kohli’s nephew, 15-year-old leg-spinner Aaryaveer Kohli. He has already played for Delhi at the Under-16 level and trains at the West Delhi Cricket Academy under Virat’s childhood coach.
Sons of former India opener Virender Sehwag, Aaryavir Sehwag, 17, and his younger brother, Vedant Sehwag, 15, have also been included on the shortlist. At the Delhi Under-19 level, Aaryavir has drawn attention with a 297-run innings, and Vedant bowls off-spin for the state’s Under-16 squad, cricket.com.
