A horrific crime shocked Madhya Pradesh after a teenage girl was brutally murdered by a jilted lover inside a government hospital in Narsinghpur, with the entire incident captured on CCTV. The 19-year-old girl was allegedly attacked with a knife by a youth who had been obsessively following her after she rejected his advances. The incident occurred in full view of hospital staff and patients, who were seen fleeing instead of intervening.
In a frantic attack, the accused allegedly pursued the girl into the hospital, cornered her next to a ward, and repeatedly stabbed her. Staff on the scene did not act immediately in response to cries for assistance. Before medical assistance could be given, the girl passed away from her wounds. Outside the facility, officers later subdued the attacker and took him into custody.
Social media users are furious over the hospital’s security lapses and the spectators’ indifferent reaction after the CCTV footage went viral. People are clamouring for more safety regulations, round-the-clock, trained security guards, and accountability from the hospital’s management.
