Tomorrow is expected to see a considerable rise in temperatures throughout the United Arab Emirates, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), which has advised citizens to take precautions against the heat. Daytime highs of 46°C are predicted for cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, making it one of the warmest days of the summer thus far.
The Met Office warned of hazardous sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea in the early morning, in addition to the rising temperatures. Waves as high as six feet are predicted to be stirred by strong northwesterly winds, which could interfere with beach excursions and marine activities.
Authorities have advised the public to avoid prolonged outdoor exposure, especially between 12pm and 4pm, and to stay hydrated. Fishermen, beachgoers, and small vessel operators are particularly urged to exercise extreme caution as sea conditions remain unstable during the early hours.
While the hotter weather is typical of this time of year, the NCM reminded residents that more intense heat waves may still lie ahead, with humidity levels expected to rise later in the week. The public is encouraged to stay updated via official weather bulletins.
