Air India Denies Blame for Crash Report, No Blame Has Been Placed Yet

Air India has released an official statement after the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) report of the tragic air crash came out. The report, while exhaustive in its technical findings, conspicuously avoids attributing blame or making conclusive statements about the reason behind the tragedy.

Air India admitted the report and reiterated its adherence to passenger safety, saying that all operational procedures are being carefully examined. “We are cooperating fully with authorities and have already put in place a number of safety recommendations,” Air India stated in a press release. The airline stressed its continued support for the bereaved families as well as crew members.

The AAIB report provides an account of the cause of the accident, including weather, aircraft approach path, and technical information contained in the black box. It, however, remains inconclusive on assigning blame by raising questions on human error, mechanical failure, or other contributory factors.

This lack of accountability in the report has drawn mixed reactions from the public and aviation experts alike. Some call it a cautious move in an ongoing investigation, while others view it as a deferral of much-needed answers. For now, the focus remains on learning from the incident and preventing future tragedies.
