Azharuddin’s assistant filed a report after burglars destroyed the mattresses, refrigerator, and CCTV cameras in the vacant cottage. In a startling occurrence, furniture, appliances, and CCTV equipment were reportedly destroyed when Bollywood starlet and former model Sangeeta Bijlani’s farmhouse near Lonavala was broken into and vandalised.

What transpired:

Unknown criminals attacked the vacant bungalow in the picturesque hill region of Khandala, close to Lonavala. A refrigerator, surveillance cameras, and beds are among the destroyed items. The property was found in disarray, indicating a possible break-in and act of intentional destruction.

Legal Action: A staff member of cricketer Muhammad Azharuddin, who has a history with Bijlani, filed an official complaint. To find the offenders, police have filed a complaint and started an investigation. In order to track down any suspicious activities, authorities are also examining CCTV footage from surrounding neighbourhoods.

Background:

A well-known actress from the 1980s and 1990s and a former Miss India, Sangeeta Bijlani has mostly avoided the spotlight in recent years. The farmhouse had been empty at the time of the tragedy and is reputed to have been one of her special retreats. Police are treating the case as a serious act of trespassing and property damage, and further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
