UAE President and Dubai Ruler Discuss National Development and Global Partnerships

President Sheikh Mohamed met Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai on Tuesday. Their main focus was on key areas of in the strategic development of the UAE. Other notable personalities who joined the meeting were Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

Leaders discussed national growth progress at the meeting held at Abu Dhabi’s Qasr Al Bahr. They focused on strategic and economic cooperation with international partners. The meeting followed a speech by Sheikh Mohamed to Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Sergei Shoigu.

The Dubai ruler had earlier announced the largest government budget in Dubai’s history for 2025-2027. “Thus, we have approved the Dubai government budget for 2025-2027, with project revenue standing at Dh302 billion and project expenditure at Dh272 billion.

This is the highest budget ever for the emirate,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted on X. “It is also the budget, which will achieve an operating surplus of 21% next year. This budget will enable financial sustainability for the Dubai government,” he added further.
