Starting November 1, drivers in Sharjah will now need to pay for parking from 8am to midnight. Previously, the paid parking fees were only in effect from 8am to 10pm.

These 16-hour paid parking zones will operate every day of the week, including public holidays. In Sharjah, parking spaces are usually indicated by blue and white curb markings, along with clear signs showing how to use them and the fees involved.

In a statement, the Sharjah City Municipality said it has extended paid parking hours in the blue zones, making fees applicable every day of the week, including official holidays. This change aims to improve parking efficiency and increase available spaces.

The parking fees listed below apply to all paid parking zones in Sharjah. You can pay for parking tickets through the SMS parking service in the emirate.

Regular users can choose prepaid parking subscriptions instead of daily fees. These subscriptions provide convenience for individuals and businesses to use paid parking spaces based on their selected plans. Subscribers can pick a personal plan for all of Sharjah or just two specific areas, while businesses can choose a city-wide parking plan. The costs differ depending on the subscription type.
