Meet the Dubai Schoolboy Who Won a Gift from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid

Six-year-old Rayyan Badr Mohammed is a Grade 1 student at Al Ibda’a Model School-Cycle 1 in Dubai. He recently stole the spotlight during a parents’ meeting at his school. He is known more for his quick thinking than his academic performance.

Rayyan received special recognition for answering a question correctly. He answered a question from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum during a visit to the school. His quick and correct answer earned him a personal gift from Sheikh Mohammed.

This special gift created a memorable moment for Rayyan, his family, and the school. He proudly wore the badge he received. Rayyan also posed with his school’s Best School Award from the Arab Reading Challenge.

It was an annual initiative that encouraged literacy and a love for reading throughout the Arab world. This recognition elaborated Rayyan’s potential. It also brought pride to his school community.
